In this project we were able to pick what we learned about, we collected data for our projects we chose. I did cat adoption, other people did like how dogs and cats interact, and we could do horses and other animals too. I picked this subject because I love cats and I was interested if color affects cat adoption rates. My project was about how long it takes cats to get adopted based on the color of their fur. I looked at different Humane Society websites and calculated how long black, white, black and white, blonde, and black and white striped cats stayed in the Humane Society. I looked at 10 cats from each color and found that white cats stay in the shelter the longest while blonde and black cats are adopted the fastest.  I would also like to learn if dog color affects their adoption rate as well.
