Stingray Observation and Frog Observation

3 Things I learned about observing a stingray dissection:

The stingray had such a tiny heart it was hard to identify.

The stingray's digestive organs and all the organs were all mashed up into like a paste and it was really hard to identify each organ.

My favorite part of observing this dissection was watching Marisol trying to cut through the stomach because the skin was really hard to cut.
This was the stingray that I observed.

3 Things I learned about observing a frog dissection:

There thighs are really hard to cut because there's so many strong muscles.

In the frog the veins were dyed blue.

My favorite thing about observing the frog was the intestines they were really long.

The first step Marisol took to dissect the stingray was cutting a Y shape cut into the stingray's stomach. The last step she found the brain that was located between the eyes. The first step Serra took to dissecting her frog was cutting a diagonal line cut on the frogs stomach. The last step she cut out the intestines and stretched them out and measured them.
